BEAT AS ONE displayed precision, style and grace to win the Sitio Buhanginan Dance Competition held in collaboration with Barangay San Jose Sangguniang Kabataan led by Chairman Doc Monte Tolentino.

BEAT AS ONE – a dance group from Binangonan, Rizal – walked home with the grand prize of ₱5,000 and a certificate.

Doc Monte expressed his full support for productive activities by the youth and welcomed the collaboration to hold the Sitio Buhanginan Dance Competition.

“Maraming salamat sa mga judges sa competition na ito. Sa mga tumulong maraming salamat po sa pag suporta sa Dance Competition dito sa Sitio Buhanginan. At syempre po full support ang SK ng San Jose dito sa competition. Yun lang po, maraming, maraming salamat,” said Doc Monte.

Arjay Guzman Umali, Melva “Sharon” Barayoga and Mary Ann Sarucam organized the competition and turned to the Barangay San Jose SK for its successful completion.

U’SWAGG “PWD”, from Binangonan, Rizal was adjudged 1st Runner-up and earned ₱3,000 and a certificate. RUGGED FLAVORS from Cogeo, Antipolo City was named nd Runner-up and earned ₱2,000 and a certificate. D’HIGHLY FAVORED from Taguig won Best Costume.

The dance groups were judged based on originality, interpretation and relevance to the choice of song, mastery and timing, confidence and X-factor, stage presence and showmanship and finally audience impact.
