The Community Kamustahan continues with Barangay San Jose Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman Doc Monte Tolentino visiting Sitio Paenaan of Barangay San Jose.

“Since day 1 grateful po ako sa Panginoon dahil binigyan niya ako ng opportunidad na makapaglingkod sa Barangay San Jose. Malaking biyaya po sa aming mga lingkod bayan ang makasama at makumusta kayo, mga kabarangay namin sa Sitio Paenaan,” said Doc Monte in his Facebook page.

“We are truly blessed kasi kahit saglit lang ang kwentuhan natin, marami po kaming natutunan. Thank you for sharing your time and experiences. Mas naunawaan po namin ang kasalukuyang kalagayan ng ating barangay.”

The visit continued the process of actually going to the far-off sitios of Barangay San Jose to find out their concerns, possible problems and aspirations. And mostly just to touch bases and let the community know that they are neither forgotten nor neglected.

“Tuloy-tuloy po sa pag-iikot ang mga community-centered programs natin. Pero syempre, gusto po namin itong paunlarin at gawing mas angkop sa aktwal na pangangailangan ng mga tao. Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng kabarangay natin na patuloy na nakiisa sa barangay kumustahan,” he said.

Barangay San Jose is one of the largest barangays not just in Rizal Province but the entire country. It’s large area and big population actually is comparable to many towns and municipalities in the Philippines.

It is necessary to periodically reach out to the community in the far off sitios of the barangay not just during elections but regularly to find out the most urgent concerns of the residents there.
