The tournament will be held in Pantay. You don’t have to pay anything. Registration is free. The tournament is open to all Antipolo City residents.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Jose, led by Doc Monte, is in charge of the youth, ages 18 to 30 years old. As such it is the SK’s responsibility to create projects for the different needs of constituents foremost of which are sports activities and tournaments.

The youth derive many benefits from participating in sports activities. Increased physical activity results in a stronger and healthier youth.

The youth form social and community bonds when they participate in sports. Playing in tournaments helps them build a stronger connection not just with their peers but with the community as a whole. Young people will get to know adults who serve as volunteer coaches or league officials. They can build relationships with these trusted adults–who can be important role models.

Participation in sports can improve academic potential. Young people who pursue sports develop a strong self-concept and often become goal driven. These positive qualities can carry over not just into the classroom but in future work.
