The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) invited tourism stakeholders in Rizal to attend the TIEZA Investment Roadshow Series: “TIEZA INVESTMENT INCENTIVES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR TOURISM ENTERPRISES” 9:30 AM to 3 PM, February 8, 2024 at the Griffin Hall, First Pacific Leadership Academy in Antipolo, Rizal.
The roadshow will discuss the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act and its incentive package; promote the assistance programs of Department of Tourism and TIEZA; encourage investors to register their tourism projects with TIEZA; offer investment opportunities to tourism stakeholders; and introduce financial institutions that can offer loans to investors.
CREATE Act is a new law that lowers the corporate tax rate, offers tax holidays and VAT exemptions, and incentivizes tourism related activities and projects.
TIEZA is also offering investment opportunities to tourism stakeholders to locate in tourism enterprise zones in the country. These include development of accommodation facilities, MICE (Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) centers, premiere shopping outlets and infrastructure utilities.
TIEZA invites the following to participate: tourist transport services, accommodation facilities, convention and exhibition facilities (MICE), amusement parks, adventure and eco-tourism facilities, sports facilities and recreational centers, theme parks, health and wellness facilities, farm tourism, tourism training centers and institutes, development of retirement villages and restoration/preservation and operation of historical shrines, landmarks and structures.
Also invited are allied services like consultancy and law firms; media/press including the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), newspapers like Antipolo STAR, social media and radio; and other Tourism/Business Organizations like Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Philippine Hotel Owners Association.
