Sibug and in coordination with the Office of Public Safety and Security (OPSS) and local city government of Antipolo, launched a motorcade around Antipolo City last February 2, 2024 to kick off celebration of the 34th Civil Registration Month in the province.

The motorcade assembled at the provincial office and started to move to Sto. Niňo Street corner C. Lawis St. then to M.L. Quezon and E. Rodriguez Avenue. This event was participated in by PSA-Rizal staff and employees and accompanied by OPSS staff.

The CRM celebration is in line with the Presidential Proclamation No. 682, signed on January 28,1991, declaring the month February of every year as the Civil Registration Month.

It authorizes the Civil Registrar General to promulgate the necessary implementing rules and regulations with all local civil registry offices in the country to observe in connection with the activities and programs that may be locally held.

This year adopts the theme Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS): The Future of Seamless Services.
