The Antipolo City Jail Male and Female Dormitory – headed by JSupt Warren Geronimo and JCInsp Marvi Diaz, Jail Wardens – extended a helping hand to residents of Sitio Dao, Barangay San Luis, Antipolo City.
They conducted a Community Relations Service Program through Feeding and Gift-Giving with Read-A-Book and Information Drive activity with the help of Miriam Rodriguez, Activity Coordinator and Board Member of Pinagbuklod na Samahan ng Sitio Dao and staff.
Fifty children and 48 residents benefited from the activity.
The activity is part of the month-long celebration of 12th BJMP (Bureau of Jail Management and Penology) Community Relations Service, “Matatag na Ugnayan ng Pamayanan at Piitan, Daan tungo sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Bayan”.
The BJMP personnel gave Rodriguez a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of her valuable contribution to the success of the project.
“Ang natangap ko sir, sobrang saya ko at dilang para sa ‘kin ang award na yon para din sa aming Pinagbuklod na Samahan ng Sitio Dao na opisyales sa amin. Kaya po nagpapasalamat kami sa BJMP Antipolo. Kay JSupt Warren Geronimo at JCInsp Marvi Diaz na sila ang namumuno sa kanilang programa na my puso sa mga bata at kabataan,” said Rodriguez.
“Sabi nga nila, ‘Matatag na ugnayan ng pamayanan at piitan, daan tungo sa ligtas at maunlad na bayan.’ Mabuhay po kayo at ipagpatuloy nyo ang magandang programang ito. God Bless everyone.”
BJMP personnel present during the activity include Male Dormitory: SJO1 Lawrence Bulanit; SJO1 Jeneath Guinid; JO3 Rodeliza Lim; JO1 Jun-Jun Pumalo; JO1 Vencent Darryl Oliveros; JO1 Marc Kevin Mayor; JO1 Keziah Tuguinay; and JO1 Lean Cayag.
Female Dormitory personnel include: JO2 Jhoanagracia Modrigo; JO2 Ann Genina Losito; JO1 Don Calderon; JO1 Mae Krizarra Briones; and JO1 Kaezel Santos.
