Former Antipolo City Mayor Andeng Ynares and Barangay San Jose SK Chairman Doc Monte Tolentino, along with Councilor Doc Ian Masangkay, Councilor Christian Alarcon, San Jose Punong Barangay Boy Borja, JS GPTA President Danilo Barcheco and School Principal Esperanza Mandal led the ribbon-cutting ceremony during the inauguration of the Old Boso-Boso National High School.
With them were Senior high GPTA Vice President Joan MaQuirang, Secretary Cecil Falcon and Board Members Vicky Seronda, Analyn Arcilla and Wenzell Zambrona along with Theresa Faniega as well as other school officials.
The Old Boso-Boso National High School is located at Sitio Old Boso-Boso, Barangay San Jose, Antipolo, Rizal.
The ceremonies started at the school covered court with the arrival of former Mayor Ynares who was met not just by school officials but by the parents of the students as well as other officers of the high school’s parent-teacher organizations.
It wasn’t all business during the inauguration with former mayor Ynares joining the dignitaries and school officials in an impromptu dance performance of “Bongga ka ‘Day”.
The inauguration of the Old Boso-Boso National High School showed how Antipolo City continued to prioritize education which is very important for social and intellectual growth of the youth.
The youth are exposed not only to new ideas but also to same aged compatriots in schools. This instills sociable practices such as empathy, friendship, participation, assistance which turn out to be important in their adulthood.
