Talented new faces were discovered during the Face Hunter Model & Talent Discovery live audition held November 26 at the 2nd floor activity area of Victory Park & Shop, Antipolo City.
Jaedenh Garing, 13, of Antipolo National High School; Camille Cedilla, 22, of Angono; Abigail Mañalac, 19, of Antipolo Hills; and Ryza Jazmin Regino, Grade 12 student of ACLC displayed not only their comely faces but their modelling skills, their acting chops, their singing voices and in the case of Cedilla, her dancing moves, during the audition.
The four may well be on their way to fame and fortune or at least a career in the entertainment industry after facing the scrutiny, evaluation and helpful advise from the panel of judges led by Santi Deligos of Linda Talent Management.
“Ang FaceHunter, hindi siya pageant talaga. Ang purpose niya maka discover ng new faces for commercial at saka doon sa mga gustong maging artista. Nagkaroon na kami sa SM City Trece Martirez at sa Victory Mall Caloocan. Pangatlo ngayon Victory Park & Shop Antipolo,” said Deligos who said there will be future auditions in other locations in the country.
“Marami naman akong nakita na potential talent sa Antipolo. Ang problema kasi mahiyain sila. Ngayon, sa mga nag-audition meron naman ako nakita na potential,” added Deligos, a resident of Padilla, Antipolo City.
The event is a partnership between Linda Talent Management and Victory Park & Shop with Jonathan Dimaano of Victory as one of the judges along with Elmer Bermal, Prince Cedric and Deligos.
“Linda Talent Management is a supplier of talents for TV commercials. At sa mga networks. For teleserye, yung mga ganoon. Linda Talent Management is a new company. A new talent agency pero yung mga behind – yung mga tao behind – mga talagang matagal na sa industriya. So we put up our own talent management,” said Deligos.
“Kasi sa industriya ang daming nagiging problema. Like kami, we work sa different agencies. Ang daming problema na na-e-encounter kami. Kagaya ng pagdating sa mga talent fees. Since alam naman namin ang industriya kaya we put up our own.”
All four displayed their range in acting when they performed monologues with script provided for them. They also sang to display their versatility. Additionally, Cedilla also displayed her dance moves.
Deligos and the people of Linda Talent Management said they will inform the four at a later date if they have what it takes to have careers in the entertainment industry.
