Samahan ng Mamamasan Krus ng Antipolo, led by new president Ansley Chris Delos Santos, revealed a new thrust for the organization of Antipolo residents who have made a vow to stage a re-enactment of Christ’s passion and death every year during Holy Week.
Delos Santos said instead of being active only during Holy Week SAMAKA will be active the whole year with programs and activities for the benefit not just of its members but for the public of Antipolo.
SAMAKA outlined its year-long calendar of activities during a meeting with Antipolo STAR Editor Reuel Vidal at Seisha Coffee Shop in Antipolo City. SAMAKA will also establish a partnership with Antipolo STAR to help gain sponsorship and support from the government as well as private corporations.
Present during the meeting were SAMAKA officers including Felicito Soriano, Adviser; Ohlan Rivera, Admin; Arvin Caculitan, Board Member; Feliciano Paulo, Board Member; Nikko Sebastian Costes, Treasurer; Jefferson Espiritu Santo, Board Member, Netskie Albo, Secretary 1 and Aries Sablaya.
The partnership will entail Antipolo STAR featuring the SAMAKA activities – including sports activities and tournaments – as well as a profile of all its members to the public in all of Antipolo STAR’s media platforms including the Antipolo STAR Website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and print edition.
SAMAKA also hopes to expand its social media presence to Tiktok and YouTube in addition to its Facebook page with the help of Antipolo STAR.
