Ginanap ang oath-taking ng YULA (Ynares Unified Ladies Association) KALIPI (Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina) officers sa harap ng Barangay Hall ng Barangay San Luis.

Bahagi ang 16 Sitio Presidents at San Luis officers ng oath-taking na pinangunahan ng San Luis Punong Barangay Crisol Cate, Sr. Nandoon sa oath-taking mga konsehal ng Antipolo na sila Michael Leyva, Angie Tapales at Marife Pimentel.

Kasama sa oath-taking sila San Luis YULA President Barbara J. Paguigan, President and overall Secretary ng Barangay San Roque YULA Rosita Cera, Barangay San Jose YULA President at dating Kagawad Tess Santos, Barangay Inarawan YULA President Jennifer Encilla at si Sitio Dao YULA Coordinator Miriam Rodriguez.

 “Layunin ng YULA na magkaroon at maibahagi yung mga livelihood program mula sa city government of Antipolo. Syempre ni-re-request po natin yan, tulad ng soap-making, dressmaking, perfume making, meat processing, bag making,” sabi ni Paguigan.

“Yung mga kababaihan po natin gumagawa rin sila ng mga basahan. Meron ding urban gardening o pagtatanim ng mga gulay gulay. Lumipat sila mula plantitas at plantitos. Ang ginagawa nila (ngayon) yung pinakikinabangan. Mga gulay sa paligid ninyo na pwedeng pagkain, gagawing ulam.”

Nais ng YULA na matulungan ang mga kababaihan ng Antipolo City. Maaring sa kabuhayan, sa training at sa ano mang paraan.

“Nais din po naming magkaroon ng kooperatiba. Yung pagpapa utang. Yun po ang inilalatag namin upang yun po mapag-usapan. Sana maipamahagi yung mga ganyang klaseng programa ng mga grupo naming kababaihan dito sa San Luis,” sabi ni Paguigan.

“Nais din po naming manawagan doon sa mga may kakayahan na mag donate ng mga pwedeng gawing proyekto sa mga kababaihan. Sa ganoon ay makatulong ito sa kanilang mga tahanan. Kasi ang pangkabuhayan po dumaan tayo sa pandemic. Nais po sana naming magkaroon ng kaunting pagkakakitaan sa loob ng tahanan para makatulong din po sa ating mga asawa.”
