The 1st Rizal Provincial Statistics Committee (RPSC) meeting was held at Rizal Provincial Statistical Office of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and via Zoom as spearheaded by the Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Yra B. Sibug of PSA-Rizal and Provincial Planning and Development Officer Engineer Camila R. Collantes of the Rizal Provincial Government.
The meeting was intended to define the functions of the RPSC through the presentation of the General Guidelines on the Operations and Rules of Procedure of RPSC and briefing on the Provincial Product Accounts, Community Based Monitoring System and an overview on the Philippine Standard Classification System by the PSA personnel.
Programs for the 32nd National Statistics Month celebration on October were laid out by Statistical Specialist II Janice E. Tan to inform and solicit participation and support from the RPSC members and from online participants/representatives from the local government units, academes and other government agencies. On the other hand, CSS Sibug gave the updates on the Philippine Identification System registration in the province. Executive Order No. 11 Series of 2021 entitled “Organizing The Rizal Provincial Statistics Committee, Defining Its Functions and For Other Purposes” promulgated the RPSC and its composition signed by Governor Rebecca A. Ynares on April 20, 2021.
