The Department of Health Center for Health Development CALABARZON (DOH CHD 4A)) will hold the “Rizal Pride Fest 2025: Ako ay Malaya”, at Ynares Center Open Grounds, Antipolo, Rizal at 3 PM, June 21, 2025, Saturday.

The event will be held through the DOH Health Education and Promotion – Communications Management Unit (HEP-CMU in celebration of Pride Month.

It will be a day of celebration, advocacy, and action aimed at promoting inclusivity and the health and well-being of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The event is held in collaboration between DOH CHD 4A, the Rizal Provincial Health Office, the Antipolo Health Office.

It will feature various activities designed to raise health and wellness, including HIV awareness, sexual health and mental health among our LGBTQIA++ community.

These include a Pride March to mobilize community support and visibility, an HIV screening caravan to ensure participants receive health counselling, distribution of condoms, lubricants and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and other health booths that will serve as a point of interaction between healthcare providers and the community.

This Pride Month celebration goes beyond festivity. It is a platform to encourage healthier lifestyles, reduce stigma around HIV and other health issues and promote early detection and treatment, in alignment with the Department of Health’s 8-Point Action Agenda, Bawat Pilipino Ramdam ang Kalusugan.
