There will be a Dance Contest – a collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Jose, led by SK Chairman Doc Monte Tolentino – at the Sitio Buhanginan Covered Court, 6 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2023.

The contest is open to all dance groups. Registration Fee is only ₱500.

All performers must be at least 15 years old. There is no minimum or maximum number members required.

Each Group will be given an allotted time of a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes. There will be a one-point deduction in the total score of every judge for every 30 seconds exceeding the maximum allotted time of the performance.

Each group should be responsible for their own music. Dangerous stunts are strictly prohibited. The committee will not liable for any untoward incidents that may happen. Safety will be prioritized.

The Dance Contest is judged with the following criteria: Originality, Interpretation and Relevance to the choice of song- 30%; Mastery and timing- 20%; Confidence and X-factor- 20%; Stage Presence and Showmanship- 20%; Audience Impact- 10% for a total of 100%.

The champion group will receive ₱5,000.00, a trophy and a certificate. The 1st runner-up – ₱3,000.00, a trophy and a certificate. The 2nd runner-up – ₱2,000.00, a trophy and a certificate.
