The Samahan ng mga Negosyo (Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Antipolo) will hold its first General Membership Meeting 2023 (Unang Pulong Pangkalahatan sa 2023) 1 PM, March 9, Thursday at Ynares Hall, 3rd Floor, Rizal Provincial Capitol.
PCCI-Antipolo President and Emotional Wellness Expert Oliver Darvin will explain R. A. 11036, also known as the Mental Health Act, and how it will affect businesses and the workplace.
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.
Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
R.A. 11036 establishes a National Mental Health Policy to enhance the delivery of integrated mental health services, promote and protect the rights of persons utilizing psychosocial health services and appropriating funds for that purpose.
“This will be the first GMM of 2023 and the first under our leadership. We seek to attract as many businesses to attend as we launch what will be our Showcase Program for PCCIA – Creating awareness about the Mental Health – and its relevance to business in the country,” said Darvin.
The organization hopes to attract more members with a successful holding of the General Membership Meeting according to Darvin
“We plan for the event to serve as a significant driver for membership in the organization,” he said.
There will also be a Focus Group Discussion on what PCCI Antipolo members hope their businesses will attain.
PCCI Executive Vice President Bryant Kim An will talk about the origin, objectives and current state of PCCI Antipolo. Registration of participants starts at 12 noon. The Call to Order will be made by Darvin at 1:30 PM.
