SM Supermalls will provide hands-on experience and real world environment to students of STI College Ortigas-Cainta with the signing of a memorandum of agreement for an academic partnership between the two institutions last November 14, 2022.
Cheryll Ruth L. Agsaoay, Vice President – Human Resources of SM Supermalls conveyed her deep appreciation for the partnership through a message delivered by Michelle Dane Dueñas, SM Supermalls Regional HR Manager.
“On behalf of the management of SM Supermalls we thank the STI College Ortigas-Cainta for becoming our academe partner and having a shared vision of creating a better future for the youth. At SM Supermalls commitment to serving communities is at the heart of what we do and providing opportunities for the growth and development of the youth is part of it.
“Academic partnerships are also integral to SM as it helps us build our organization’s diversity and enhance our strategic plans in forming opportunities for the young generation.
“Through the years, top talents from your institution have joined us, demonstrating their values and skills. By forging our partnership, we will be able to stay true to our commitment in supporting the academe by creating avenues where students can explore their passions and become the future trailblazers and leaders of our nation.

The SM Supermalls Regional HR Manager expressed her own appreciation for the partnership. “We are all really excited with this partnership between STI and SM Supermalls. It’s really our privilege to be part of it,” said Dueñas.
Jezreez C. Rodavia, Deputy School Administrator of STI Ortigas-Cainta delivered the Welcome Address explaining how STI students will benefit from the school’s partnership with SM Supermalls.
“In today’s dynamic and competitive job market there is a need for quality hands-on experience that cannot be provided by the four corners of the classroom. We at STI believe that the key to preparing our students is through connecting them to real world experience and through this undertaking with SM we trust that our students will develop and strengthen the skills needed in the workplace to increase their marketability and build their professional network. This will give them a competitive advantage which will open doors and increase access to various job opportunities,” said Rodavia.
STI College Ortigas-Cainta offers both College and Senior High School Programs.
College Programs include Information & Communications Technology, Business & Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Computer Engineering and Arts & Sciences with Bachelor of Multimedia Arts and BA in Communication.
