In preparation for the conduct of the 2022 Updating of the List of Establishments (ULE), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Rizal Provincial Statistical Office set a three-day Third Level Training from August 16 – 18, 2022 at Rizal Provincial Statistical Office to equip hired field interviewers for the field operations.

ULE is a regular statistical undertaking by the PSA which aims to provide an updated Statistical Business Register containing information on basic characteristics of establishments needed for the conduct of economic census and surveys and formulation of policies and implementation of programs in the country. Specifically, the 2022 ULE aims to revisit and update the status of temporary closed or stopped establishment operations during the previous conduct of ULE.

During the field operations, PSA authorized interviewers will visit establishments to ask questions pertaining to the following data requirements for the ULE: business name, registered name, business address, economic activity, total employment, economic organization, legal organization, name and address of main office/parent company, nationality of owner/major stockholder/contributor, total assets and the maximum farm capacity and animal inventory for establishments engaged in livestock and poultry.

Section 25 of RA 10625 also known as the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013 obliges all respondents whether natural or legal persons to respond to the statistical inquiry or survey. 

The PSA also complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and assures that all collected personal information are processed in accordance with the law and other issuances.

The PSA encourages respondents to validate the identity of the field interviewer assigned in their area thru a valid PSA-issued identification card.

The data collection in the province of Rizal is set on August 22 – October 22, 2022. PSA-Rizal looks forward for the cooperation and support of establishments to this statistical undertaking.
