Antipolo Host Lions Club District 301-D2 conducted its annual planning and monthly meeting at ABCT Kitchen and Store, Eastridge Golf and Country Club, Binangonan, Rizal.
Club members and officers discussed their plans for the coming year including their priority causes where most of their activities will be centered around.
Club president Sidney Christopher Bata also invited the public to join the Lions which endeavors to conduct projects for the benefit of the public.
“We talked about our 12-month calendar with our five causes which include Vision, Hunger, Pediatric Cancer, Environment and Diabetes. We are also inviting everyone to join us here at Lions Club. We are the biggest civic organization in the world. So please join us. Tayo na sa Antipolo Lions Club,” said Bata.
Antipolo Host Lions Club officers recently made a courtesy call on newly-elected Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares.
The delegation included Bata, Obet Ongtingco past president, Bryant Kim An District Chairman, Cynthia Verdera Vidal Vice President and Christopher Orcino member.
The club, thru its president, presented its many projects which it conducts year-round to the city mayor.
Before that the club celebrated its 54th Anniversary with a tree planting project. Together with Antipolo City Leo Club, Binangonan Sta Ursula Lions, Tanay Kapuso Lions Club and Binangonan Sta Ursula Leo Club, Lions and Leos assembled at KM55 Camp in Tanay Rizal to plant the 100 seedlings and drop tilapia fingerlings in the fish pond.
