Barangay San Jose Sangguniang Kabataan Council, under the able leadership of Montero Azur Tolentino, continued its tireless work to serve the public by going on a feeding program at Sitio Quarry Tagbac, Solid Cement, Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City.

Barangay San Jose SK Kagawads Mikko Suarez, Paolene Salvador, Angelyn Pinote and Loriel Salazar attended the feeding program. Other SK Kagawads are Shea Kate Ancheta, Sarah Joi Algaba and Rosal B. Dado.

The feeding program coincided with the birthday celebration of SK Chairman Tolentino.

The SK Council assembled the residents of Sitio Quarry Tagbac, mainly the children, at the multi-purpose court beside the chapel and served nutritious rice porridge, mineral water and gave away vitamins.

Residents of the sitio were grateful for the attention and care from the Barangay San Jose SK Council who demonstrated their sympathy and goodwill through the visit.

The feeding program served to help alleviate hunger among the children, reduce micronutrient deficiency and anemia, prevent overweight and obesity, and increase cognitive and academic performance because of improved health.

The feeding program serves to further the SK Council objective to not only promulgate resolutions necessary to carry out the objectives of the youth in the barangay but to also initiate programs designed to enhance the social, political, economic, cultural, intellectual, moral, spiritual and physical development of the youth.
