Employees of PSA-Rizal under the lead of Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS), Yra B. Sibug, voluntarily joined clearing operations of election campaign posters along the streets and in public areas of Antipolo City last May 14, 2022, as well as the clean-up drive in Hinulugang Taktak on May 17, 2022.

This is in line with the commitment of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to extend beyond its mandates by taking on social responsibility with its stakeholders and environment.

The undertaking, dubbed as “Baklasin ang Nakaraan”, was coordinated by the DENR-PENRO Rizal through its Manila Bay Site Coordinating and Management Office and supported by the City Government of Antipolo’s City Environment and Waste Management Office led by Engineer Violeta S. Faiyaz.

Different government and non-government organizations, youth groups and volunteers geared towards a common goal of caring for the environment also participated.

PSA-Rizal’s engagement in said activities was through the voluntary services of the staff in line with the office’s commitment to play a positive role in the community and foster better relationship with stakeholders.
