The Commission on Elections City (COMELEC) Board of Canvassers in Antipolo City proclaimed winners of the local election on Facebook LIVE in the Jun-Andeng Ynares Facebook account.

       COMELEC officials Rhodora Aquino Yanes, Marie Elvira Herrera and Christopher Diaz, after receiving election returns from the 652 precincts in Antipolo City, proclaimed Jun Ynares as the elected Mayor of the City of Antipolo.

       Pining Gatlabayan was proclaimed Vice Mayor; Robbie Puno, Congressman, District 1; Randy Puno, Board Member, District 1; Nilo Leyble, Board Member, District 2 on the Facebook LIVE in the Jun-Andeng Ynares Facebook Account.

       Romeo Acop ran unopposed as Congressman of District 2 of Antipolo City.

       The COMELEC officials also proclaimed winning Councilors of District 1 including Susan Say, Doc Rico De Guzman, Atty. Jill Tapales, Doktora Zapanta, Agnes Oldan, Superman Altamirano, Ate Ja Camacho and Marife Pimentel.

       The COMELEC officials likewise proclaimed winning Councilors of District 2 including Lorenzo Juan Sumulong, Puto Leyva, Christian Alarcon, Michael Leyva, Angie Tapales, Dok Ian Masangkay and Edward O’Hara.

       Alfred Zapanta was likewise proclaimed elected Councilor of District 2 of Antipolo City.

       COMELEC called the elected officials, one after another, onstage at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City, announced the total number of votes the candidates received and officially announced their electoral victory.
