PSA-Rizal officials, Yra B. Sibug, Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) and Cristine C. Crisol, Rizal CBMS Focal Person, convened the Jalajala Municipal Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board on March 29, 2022 at Jalajala Municipal Office.

       For the smooth flow of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) operations set to start on July 2022 in all geographic and administrative levels and systematic coordination of government agencies and instrumentalities involved in this undertaking, a convening of the members of the CBMS Coordinating Board at the municipal/city/provincial level in the province of Rizal had been conducted through the initiative of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Rizal Provincial Statistical Office spearheaded by CSS Sibug.

       Rizal CBMS Focal Person Crisol presided with the participation of Municipal/City Mayors, Local Government Unit officials and heads of different offices and agencies.

       CBMS timeline and funding assistance were discussed during the convening of Binangonan Municipal Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) held on March 23, 2022 at Binangonan Municipal Office.

       CBMS is pursuant to Republic Act No. 11315 known as the Community-Based Monitoring System Act approved on 17 April 2019, and the Implementing Rules and Regulations signed on 20 May 2020, the PSA is mandated to implement the CBMS.

       It is a systematic data collection tool which generates updated disaggregated data necessary in targeting beneficiaries, conducting more comprehensive poverty analysis and need prioritization, designing appropriate policies and interventions and monitoring impact overtime.
