Antipolo City Mayor Andeng Ynares – along with Rizal Board Member Bobot Marquez (now running for Councilor of District 2 of Antipolo), Councilor Nixon Aranas and San Luis Punong Barangay Cris Cate – led the repair of roads and alleyways as well as installation of solar street lights at Sambaville, Barangay San Luis.

       With them were Angie Tapales – who is running for Councilor of Antipolo – Barangay San Luis Kagawads and officers of the Sambaville Homeowners Association.

       In particular Alleys 13 and 14 were repaired and spruced with concrete.  The roads, formerly pockmarked and littered with potholes are now cemented smoothly complete with drainage system along its two sides.

       Solar streetlights, to illuminate the darkened alleyways and streets, were also installed to the relief of the residents.

       The group also inspected the multipurpose covered court for rehabilitation. The other roads in the subdivision were also inspected.

       Marquez, presently serving his first term as Provincial Board Member, is a trusted ally of the Ynares Administration. He is a candidate for Councilor of the second district of Antipolo City.

       Marquez started his career in government as Sports Director of the Rizal Provincial Capitol (1986 to 1987), then in Pasig City.

       Later he served as Executive Assistant of then Antipolo City Mayor Lito Gatlabayan. He served three terms as councilor of Antipolo City and also became executive assistant of Mayor Jun Ynares. At present he is Board Member of Rizal Province and the Sports Coordinator of the Antipolo Institute of Technology.
