Rizal Provincial Board Member Bobot Marquez supported the call of the Antipolo PNP Police Station and the Commission on Elections for a safe and peaceful 2022 election.
Marquez, who is running for Councilor in the Second District of Antipolo, pledged to support efforts to ensure a safe and peaceful conduct of elections on May 9 in Antipolo City and Rizal.
He made the pledge during the launch of the Safe National and Local Elections 2022 campaign dubbed as “Kasimbayanan)” – Kawani (personnel), Simbahan (church), at Pamayanan (and community) to ensure safe and peaceful conduct of elections.
Marquez said the May 2022 election may be the most serious and important in recent history because of the problem the country is facing brought on by the pandemic. He welcomed the effort of the police which has always been the partner of the COMELEC in ensuring that the May 2022 election will be safe and peaceful.
Various government agencies and COCPO force multipliers participated in the launch of Kasimbayanan at Sumulong Park.
Meanwhile, PLt. Col. Abrazado said strict implementation of the minimum public health standards will be enforced as the campaign period for national candidates kicked off.
As a deputized agency of the COMELEC, PNP Antipolo will ensure, not just a free, honest, peaceful and credible electoral exercise but a safe one in full compliance with strict public health and safety protocols.
