The Department of Trade and Industry Rizal Provincial Office through its One Town, One Product Program launched its OTOP PH Hub at the Ground Floor, Altica Arcade, Circumferential Road, Antipolo City, 2021 in a bid to support local micro, small and medium entrepreneurs. 

       DTI Assistant Secretary for Regional Operations Group Demphna Du-Naga together with Regional Director Marilou Toledo and CALABARZON Provincial Directors, Board Member Alexander Marquez, Antipolo Councilor Agnes Oldan, SARAP President Rosario Ola and REMAI President Dante Caoile graced the launching of the OTOP Hub.

       Asec Naga applauded the OTOPreneurs’ unwavering passion and creativity to push their businesses forward despite all the challenges. She also commended the DTI 4A’s initiatives to continuously assist MSMEs by providing market access platform where OTOP products have been assisted with product development. According to Asec Naga, the OTOP Program is implementing and investing for a better normal buy equipping OTOPreneurs with a long term channel of marketing platform.

       Regional Director Toledo adds that the Rizal OTOP HUB is now equipped in terms of digital systems but the agency plans to implement processes in order to further increase sales.

       DTI-Rizal Provincial Director Desiderio Jurado III says during the launch that the OTOP Hub aims to provide innovative and quality OTOP products both a physical and online store in partnership with the Samahan ng mga Rizalenyo sa Sektor ng Agrikultura at Pagkain (SARAP) and Rizal Exporters and Manufacturers Association Inc. (REMAI). 

       “As of today we have 54 MSMEs participating in our OTOP Hub and we are excited for the products on interested entrepreneurs from other provinces and regions,” says Director Jurado.
