The new units are launched in partnership with BYD Company, one of the largest electric transportation companies in the world.

The launch was held November 8, 2021 with a formal turnover of the units from BYD to EGV at the EGV Warehouse at 134 Sumulong Highway in Antipolo.

In attendance were EGV and BYD officers and personnel.

The Antipolo LGU was represented by the OIC of the Public Transport Regulatory Board of Antipolo City, Rolando Avendaño. Jewel Anne Camacho represented Councilor Arnel Camacho who is the Chairman of the Committee on Transportation, Public Utilities and Facilities.

“It has always been our dream to provide a modern transportation solution, which benefits both the tricycle drivers as well as the city they serve,” said Mike Puno, President and Chief Operating Officer of Elaia Green Vehicles Corporation.
