SM City Masinag opened its doors to pets, pet lovers and pet owners with the formal opening of the Paw Park at the mall.

All manner and breed of dogs and at least one cat joined the celebration where pets were given free pet check-up and anti-rabies vaccine administered by Antipolo City Veterinary Office head Dr. Cornelia Vergara and her staff.

There were plenty of freebies given away courtesy of Nutri Chunks, Pet Express, Protect Plus Gold.

The Paw Park was formally opened with the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by SM Supermalls Assistant Vice President for Marketing Jay Araña; Unit Sales Manager of APHC, Razel Grace Bognot, DVM; Philippine Pet Fashion Icon Bernie Alfonso and SM City Masinag Mall Manager Raymond Bonifacio.

The Paw Park – located at the Upper Ground Level of SM City Masinag near the FoodCourtf – features a wide space of play area with play obstacles like Walk the Plank, Jump Through, Weave Posts and Home Sweet Home.

The popular dog duo Milo and Tristan Huertas of Milo & Friends had a special performance of Milo’s tricks in the Paw Park.

“We are excited to finally open the Paw Park here in SM City Masinag. Our mall is frequented by shoppers who usually bring their fur babies. Not only it keeps their pets busy, the Paw Park also gives them a chance to bond with their pets in a different setting. We assure pet parents that the area is constantly sanitized and health protocols are observed for their health and safety,” said Khristine Lenon,” Marketing Manager for SM City Masinag.

The Paw Park opening followed the success of the Community Pawntries by SM. Its opening served as advance celebration of World Animal Day on October 4.
