QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES – As a tribute to exemplary and inspiring acts of ordinary Filipinos during the COVID-19 pandemic, Araneta City is opening a special National Heroes Day photo exhibit – both virtual and physical – featuring select modern-day heroes.
In partnership with the J. Amado Araneta Foundation (JAAF), the social development arm of the Araneta Group, the City of Firsts launches the #LivingHeroes photo exhibit that features individuals whose generosity, ingenuity, and inspiring deeds created ripples of hope to those who are heavily affected by the ongoing health crisis.
“The COVID-19 pandemic brought out the best in most people. The J. Amado Araneta Foundation recognizes the contribution of these individuals who have inspired a lot of people here in the Philippines and abroad with their stories of sharing, innovating, and giving in this very challenging time,” JAAF Executive Director Diane Romero said.
