The brother and sister tandem of Denice “The Menace” and Drex “T-Rex” Zamboanga made it a family affair in Thailand when they posted equally spectacular victories at ONE: A New Breed at the Impact Arena, Bangkok on August 28, 2020.

Unbeaten ONE Atomweight contender Denice submitted Thai national judo champion Watsapinya “Dream Girl” Kaewkhong in the first round. Drex made a successful ONE Championship debut by likewise submitting Thailand’s Detchadin “Detchpool” Sornsirisuphathin in the second round.

Denice dominated the standup exchanges but obviously wanted a quick finish. She took down Watsapinya early in the first and a second time later in the round. She successfully moved into side control during her second takedown. From there she executed an Americana to force the tap.
